Speedwell - Hey friends. As we mentioned... →
Speedwell was always an indecisive bunch. We need your help in deciding on the cover for our discography release, which is coming out this summer. Please help us out and vote!
Hey friends. As we mentioned yesterday, Coolidge Records is releasing our discography, “Start to Finish”, this summer. We’ve narrowed the cover art down…
Here Are Idiot Celebrities Talking Out of Their...
jadedpunk:
Last night, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York hosted the 2013 Met Gala. This year’s theme was “Punk: From Chaos To Couture.” For many celebrities, this was the first time they had used the word “punk” in a sentence that wasn’t “Have my assistant get me Daft Punk tickets.” It was also an excuse for them to spend $10,000 to spike their hair up and play punk dress up for a...

JadedPunk.com's Cheesiest Emo Playlist
jadedpunk:
Last week, with the help of our friends at WashedUpEmo.com, we compiled a list of the 50 cheesiest emo lyrics ever.
The truth is, even though a bunch of those songs totally blow goats in the dark, there are a few pretty listenable songs on that list. So here is a playlist of a few of them.
Naturally, some people wrote in to tell us which ones we missed. By far, the most...
The 50 Cheesiest Emo Lyrics Of All Time
jadedpunk:
Like most people, we love making fun of emo. Because well, emo is funny. So we collected the cheesiest, wussiest, sappiest emo lyrics of all time and put them in one place.
How does a lyrics make the list? Well, it should be totally cringeworthy. Basically, every time you hear it, you should want to puke your guts out over how cheesy it is. Usually, that consists of some failed...

rawkblog:
In the wake of Emily White-gate, everyone has an opinion about money and music. Let’s turn those into an actual set of ethical, practical guidelines that reasonable music fans can turn to, rub their 8” beards and say, “Why yes, I do really love this band and I would like them to be able to make…

Portfolio website →
I really enjoyed designing my portfolio website. After doing graphic and web design for so long, it was nice to set up a website to show off my work.
Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the way it came out. Designing the actual portfolio section took a lot more time than I expected, but I was really happy with the way it came out.
If I was to change anything, it would be to add photo...
John Peel's Record Collection →
This is really awesome: first, it’s an online archive of all of the albums in (noted BBC DJ) John Peel’s collection.
Second, the website for the collection is really cool. It shows the spines of the records on a bookshelf, and as you scroll over them you see the artist and album title, which you can click on for more information. I just think it’s a really cool way of displaying...
